Mardo Soghom is the Senior Media Market Research Analyst for RFE/RL. He joined RFE/RL in 1989 as a special correspondent in New York City, later becoming Director of RFE/RL’s Armenian Broadcast Service. In 2002, Mardo became the founding News Director of Radio Farda, RFE/RL’s Persian Service. Mardo was born in Iran, completing his undergarduate studies in Lebanon, where he also served as a university lecturer.
