Russian, Chinese Foreign Ministers Meet In Moscow


21 April 2004 -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov today met with his Chinese counterpart in Moscow to discuss various bilateral relations.

After their meeting, Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing told a joint news conference that relations between Russia and China have a "solid basis, huge potential, and great future."

Lavrov said the two discussed several ways to increase Chinese-Russian bilateral ties. (AP, AFP)

RFE/RL has been declared an "undesirable organization" by the Russian government.
