Militant Group Releases Video Of Mosul Attack

26 December 2004 -- The Iraqi militant group Ansar Al-Sunnah issued a videotape today apparently showing the 21 December bombing of a U.S. Army base in northern Iraq.

The attack on the dining hall at the base in Mosul killed 22 people, 18 of them Americans.

The videotape, posted on the group's website, appears to show the actual explosion. It also shows the apparent suicide bomber leaving for his mission. He is identified as Abu Omar al-Mosuli.
