OSCE Representative in Ukraine


4 July 2005 (RFE/RL) -- A special representative on human trafficking with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the OSCE, is due to visit with Ukrainian government officials in Kyiv today.

A spokesman with Ukraine's Foreign Ministry says Helga Konrad will attend a roundtable before meeting with officials to discuss efforts to stop human trafficking.

The spokesman said Konrad will meet with Vice Prime Minister Mykola Tomenko and Petro Poroshenko, secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, as well as with representatives from the foreign affairs, interior, and justice ministries.
