Ten Iraqi Soldiers, Policemen Killed North Of Baghdad

3 September 2005 -- Ten Iraqi soldiers and policemen were killed today in two separate attacks in a province north of Baghdad.

Six policemen were killed when a group of armed men attacked the checkpoint they were manning north of the city of Baquba, some 60 kilometers northeast of Baghdad.

In a separate attack, gunmen killed four Iraqi soldiers when they attacked their convoy north of Baquba.
