Hundreds Evacuated After Fire At A Moscow Hospital


(RFE/RL) 25 January 2006 -- Some 500 patients have been evacuated from a Moscow hospital after a fire broke out early on 25 January.


Emergency officials believe the fire started in the basement of the Moscow Oncological Center, filling the building with smoke.


There were no immediate reports of casualties.
