Two Police Officers Killed In Iraq


Iraqi soldier at a checkpoint in Al-Najaf (file photo) (epa) April 18, 2006 -- In Iraq, two police officers were killed and several civilians were wounded in a roadside bombing early today in Baghdad.


On April 17, the bodies of 12 shooting victims were found in different areas of the city, and officials reported that armed attackers had killed the brother of an Iraqi Sunni leader, Salih al-Mutlak.
