Tajikistan Detains 10 Suspected IMU Members


July 17, 2006 -- Tajik Interior Minister Khomiddin Sharipov says security forces in the northern part of the country have detained 10 suspected members of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU).


Sharipov says the 10 were caught near the city of Khujand.


Sharipov says three of the suspects are citizens of Uzbekistan. He did not give the nationalities of the other seven.
