July 12, 2007 -- Officials from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Iran meet again today for talks on ending the standoff over Iran's nuclear program.

Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad said on July 11 that Iran was ready to clear up issues on the country's nuclear program, but that the West should not expect the Islamic republic to suspend uranium enrichment.
The talks come just days after IAEA Director-General Muhammad el-Baradei said Iran had scaled back its uranium-enrichment program.
