Russian Duma Delegation Leaves For Sofia

Moscow, March 25 (RFE/RL) - A delegation of the Russian Duma, the lower house of parliament, today left Moscow to Sofia for talks with Bulgarian lawmakers.

RFE/RL correspondent quotes Duma officials (unnamed) as saying that the delegation, led by the Chairman Gennady Seleznyov, will hold talks with Bulgarian Prime Minister Zhan Videnov and other officials.

Russian and Bulgarian lawmakers are expected to discuss the bilateral relations and the situation in Europe, as well as in former Yugoslavia.
