  • Grigory Krichevsky

Moscow, April 17 (RFE/RL) - NATO's inspectors arrived today in Sevastopol to verify the 1990 Treaty on Conventional Forces in Europe (CFE) at the Black Sea fleet's facilities.

Our Moscow correspondent quotes the Russian Defense Ministry as saying that NATO's inspectors will varify aspects of the CFE treaty at a Black Sea fleet marines brigade and at an anti-aircraft regiment.

The Russian Defence Ministry says that it will be the fourth NATO inspections at the Black Sea fleet since 1995. The group of inspectors arrived from the NATO Control Center in Frankfurt, Germany.
