Washington, 5 December 1996 (RFE/RL) - The White House has confirmed that U.S. President Bill Clinton and Russian President Boris Yeltsin have agreed to meet in March.
Spokesman Michael McCurry said in a statement that the two leaders talked by telephone for about 20 minutes earlier today. McCurry's statement did not say where the meeting would take place.
