SOFIA, 13 August 1997 (RFE/RL) - Five Ukrainians were killed today when their tour bus collided with a fuel tanker near the northeastern Bulgarian town of Shumen.
The bus had been on its way from the Black Sea resort of Obzor to the Romanian border crossing at Russe-Giurgiu.
Bulgarian radio says seven other Ukrainians and one Bulgarian are in hospital in critical condition.
