Bucharest, 4 November 1997 (RFE/RL) - The Presidents of Romania, Poland and Ukraine -- Emil Constantinescu, Leonid Kuchma and Aleksander Kwasniewski -- are scheduled to meet in Bucharest November 26.
Romania's Foreign Ministry today announced the meeting will be held in the framework of the "Tri-lateral Cooperation" mechanism among Bucharest, Kyiv and Warsaw.
The Ministry said that, in the last year, Romania launched the concept of "tri-lateral cooperation" as a distinctive way to promote cooperation with neighboring countries.
