Visegrad Four To Meet In Slovakia


Tale, Slovakia; 25 June (RFE/RL) -- Slovak Prime Minister Mikulas Dzurinda (pictured) will host a meeting of the Visegrad Four today in the Slovak mountain resort of Tale to discuss the future of the group after the countries enter the European Union. Along with Dzurinda, the meeting will be attended by Czech Prime Minister Vladimir Spidla, Polish Prime Minister Leszek Miller, and Hungarian Foreign Minister Laszlo Kovacs, who is representing Prime Minister Peter Medgyessy.

Miller and Kovacs are due to arrive in Tale today while Spidla and Dzurinda arrived there yesterday and had informal talks.

The officials also will discuss the use of money from the Visegrad fund, which finances joint projects and cooperation with other countries.
