Ahmadinejad's Lucky Escape

Another interesting revelation from Iran's president: Mahmud Ahmadinejad was quoted last week by Iranian state media as saying that during his recent trip to Iraq, "enemies" were planning to kidnap and assassinate him. But at the last moment the plan failed and "their will was shaken." His enemies, whoever they were, remained "astonished." The Iranian president is no stranger to wild accusations, sometimes bordering on the bizarre. In November 2005, Ahmadinejad said that a divine light surrounded him during his speech at the UN General Assembly.
