'Mahmud is Gone'

A viral photo doing the rounds shows a man holding the Iranian daily "Ettelaat." The paper has a big headline that says " Mahmud is Gone."

It's a montage photo from the days leading up to the 1979 revolution, when the shah left Iran with his family.

In 1979 the headline read: "The Shah is Gone."
