Suspect In Kyrgyz Kidnapping Arrested In Moscow

BISHKEK -- A suspect in the disappearance of a Kyrgyz parliament deputy's son has been detained in Moscow, RFE/RL's Kyrgyz Service reports.

Kyrgyz Interior Minister Moldomusa Kongantiev announced the news at a session of the Social Democratic faction in the Kyrgyz parliament.

Kongantiev said the suspect will be extradited to Kyrgyzstan soon.

Bakhtiyar Amirajanov, the son of Kyrgyz parliament deputy Jusupbek Jeenbekov, has been missing since the fall.
