The International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran (ICHRI) has called on the Iranian government to stop the destruction of the Khavaran cemetery, outside Tehran.
Khavaran is the burial site of hundreds of political prisoners executed in Iran in the 1980s.
The ICHRI says in the past 20 years the Iranian government has consistently attempted to prevent families from holding memorials for their loved ones at the site.
The spokesman of the group says the government is bulldozing the ground and completely destroying the site.
He said the group has received information from the families of those executed and witnesses who have visited the site and taken pictures of the destruction.
