BISHKEK -- Turkey today signed an agreement with the Kyrgyz government to provide $11 million for reconstructing homes destroyed in the violence in the south of the country last month, RFE/RL's Kyrgyz Service reports.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu also agreed to provide another $10 million in grants to Kyrgyzstan.
Davutoglu was in Bishkek today to attend the inauguration of caretaker Kyrgyz President Roza Otunbaeva.
