'Boxing For Peace' In Kabul

Afghan-German boxer Hamid Rahimi defeated Tanzania's Said Mbelwa on October 30 in the first professional boxing match held in Afghanistan in more than 30 years. Rahimi had campaigned to convince the World Boxing Organization to hold the event in Kabul under the name "Fight 4 Peace," saying that sports have the power to bring people together.
