Afghan Court Sentences Policemen For Failing To Prevent Mob Killing

A court in Kabul sentenced 11 police officers to one-year prison terms for failing to prevent the mob killing of a woman in March. The officers were among 49 people charged over the attack on the woman, named Farkhunda, who was beaten to death after men falsely accused her of burning the Koran.
