Confessed mass killer Anders Behring Breivik told a court on April 19 that he had planned to capture and decapitate former Norwegian Prime Minister Gro Harlem Brundtland during his shooting massacre outside Oslo.
Breivik, whose trial in Oslo has entered its fourth day, said he wanted to film the beheading and post it on the Internet.
The 33-year-old anti-Muslim nationalist has admitted to killing 77 people in a July 2011 bombing in Oslo and a shooting spree on Utoya Island, near Oslo.
Brundtland was one of the guest speakers on Utoya. Breivik has described the attacks as "self-defense" against the government's multiculturalist policies.
Breivik said he originally planned three bombings and possible targets included government buildings, offices of the ruling Labor Party, and a royal palace.
