MONDAY, March 14:

Azerbaijan: OSCE Chairman-in-Office and Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Azubalis visits Baku.

Azerbaijan/Switzerland: President of the Swiss Confederation Micheline Calmy-Rey visits Baku, meets with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

Libya: U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov join counterparts from Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, and Japan in Paris to discuss Libya "no-fly" zone.

Russia/the Netherlands: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov meets with Dutch counterpart Uri Rosenthal in Moscow.

Turkey: Bakir Izetbegovic, Bosnian member of the tripartite Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Kosovar Prime Minister Hashim Thaci attend "Leaders Of Change Summit" in Istanbul.

Ukraine: Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov to visit Turkey and Israel (to March 16).


TUESDAY, March 15:

Azerbaijan: The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs are scheduled to visit Baku to meet with Azerbaijani top officials.

Belarus/Kazakhstan/Russia: Prime ministers of Customs Union participating countries -- Mikhail Myasnikovich of Belarus, Karim Massimov of Kazakhstan, and Vladimir Putin of Russia -- meet in Minsk.

Belarus/Russia: A session of the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Russia and Belarus begins in Minsk.

Georgia: OSCE Chairman-in-Office and Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Azubalis visits Tbilisi (to March 16).

Russia/Turkey: Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan visits Moscow, meets with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev (to March 16).


WEDNESDAY, March 16:

Afghanistan/U.S.: U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee holds hearing in Washington on the situation in Afghanistan.

Armenia: The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs are expected to visit Yerevan.

Russia: Third Russia and CIS summit on anticorruption organized by the American Conference Institute opens in Moscow (to March 17).


THURSDAY, March 17:

Armenia: Armenian opposition plans to hold a protest rally.

Armenia: OSCE Chairman-in-Office and Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Azubalis visits Yerevan (to March 18).

Georgia: Brookings Institution hosts President Mikheil Saakashvili to discuss Georgia’s domestic changes in an often difficult international environment.

Kazakhstan/Russia: Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbaev visits Moscow.

Kazakhstan: Meeting of defense ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states to be held in Astana.

Russia/Turkey: Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to visit Kazan, capital of Tatarstan (to March 17).


FRIDAY, March 18:

CIS: CIS Business Leaders Forum "20 Years Together: The Experience Of Cooperation And Prospects" opens in Moscow.

Kyrgyzstan: Kyrgyz Prime Minister Almazbek Atambayev visits Moscow.


SUNDAY, March 20:

U.S./Russia: U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates is scheduled to visit Russia and to meet with Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov.
