Russia/UK: British Foreign Secretary William Hague visits Russia.

Russia/Kazakhstan: Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev visits Astana (to May 29).

Pakistan: The second anniversary of the Ahmadi massacre in Pakistan.

Belarus: The seventh Belarusian International Media Forum starts in Minsk (to May 31).

TUESDAY, May 29:

Kazakhstan: The fourth Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions convenes in Astana (to May 31).

Russia: The fifth Andrei Tarkovsky International Film Festival opens in Ivanovo (to June 3).
