From The Archives: Havel - It Was History That Overtook Us


In 1989, dissident playwright Vaclav Havel was instrumental in bringing down communism in his native Czechoslovakia. Twenty years and a presidency later, RFE/RL sat down with Havel in his office in Prague and asked him to look back on what became known as the Velvet Revolution.
