Israeli Troops Board Gaza-Bound Aid Ships

Israeli naval vessels have intercepted two ships attempting to break the blockade on Gaza, and Israeli troops have reportedly boarded the two ships.

An Israeli military statement said, "Israel navy soldiers boarded the vessels, which were en route to the Gaza Strip, attempting to break the maritime security blockade that is in place in accordance with international law."

The Canadian ship "Tahrir" and Irish ship "Saoirse" are now being guided to the Israeli port of Ashdod.

No incidents or injuries were reported.
