Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is scheduled to visit Kazakhstan on August 6 and 7.
The Russian and Kazakh foreign ministries say Lavrov plans to arrive in the city of Oskemen, the capital of the Eastern Kazakhstan region, where he will hold talks with Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister Erlan Idrisov.
The two are expected to discuss bilateral ties, international and regional issues, the Eurasian integration process, and cooperation in the political, economic, and cultural spheres.
Lavrov is expected to visit Kazakh-Russian enterprises operating in Oskemen and the region.
