Militants Attack Pakistan Security Convoy

In Pakistan, militants have attacked a security convoy in a tribal region close to the Afghan border.

Pakistani intelligence officials say three soldiers were killed and two others injured in the attack in the Bazai area of the tribal region on November 30.

Officials said the militants opened fire on the convoy that was delivering food supplies to a checkpoint.

A spokesman for the Pakistani Taliban, Sajjad Mohmand, claimed responsibility for the attack on the convoy saying they had killed four soldiers and injured several others.
