Gabriela Isler of Venezuela has been crowned Miss Universe in the annual beauty contest, held this year in the Russian capital, Moscow.
The 25-year-old, who works as a presenter on Venezuelan television, was chosen on November 9 by judges, including Steven Tyler, singer of rock band Aerosmith.
Eighty-six women from around the world competed for the title. The women posed in cocktail dresses, bikinis, and evening gowns during the competition.
It was the first time the 61-year-old contest, which is owned by U.S. mogul Donald Trump, was held in Russia.
