The Iraqi town of Mosul's unique cultural legacy is in danger as the militant Islamic State (IS) group sets about destroying buildings and monuments that it finds "idolatrous." Satellite images compiled and processed by a group of Czech archaeologists have gone some way toward quantifying the damage.
