Three Pakistani Frontier Corps Troops Killed In Suicide Attack

NORTH WAZIRISTAN, Pakistan -- Reports from Pakistan say three paramilitary Frontier Corps personnel have been killed and eight more injured in a suicide attack and exchange of fire in the North Waziristan tribal district.

A caller introducing himself as a spokesman for the little-known militant organization Ansarul Mujahedin called RFE/RL to claim responsibility for the November 20 attack.

Details are still coming in.

North Waziristan is the stronghold of the Taliban insurgency and shares a border with Afghanistan.

RFE/RL has been declared an "undesirable organization" by the Russian government.
