Russian President Vladimir Putin has spoken to his Iranian counterpart, Hassan Rohani.
According to a Kremlin statement, the March 13 telephone conversation between the two leaders covered Iran's nuclear program and the crisis in Ukraine.
According to the Kremlin, Putin stressed to Rohani that any solution to the Ukrainian crisis must take into account the interests and the will of people in all of Ukraine's regions.
On Iran's nuclear program, Putin expressed his appreciation of Tehran's "constructive approach" in talks with six world powers.
