Russian Sanctions Help Feed Crimean Oysters

Sergei Kulik has been producing oysters and mussels in Crimea for the past six years. His business has received an unexpected boost since the Russian government imposed retaliatory sanctions on Western food products in August, forcing seafood suppliers to shop closer to home. Kulik says he has been inundated with requests from Moscow and St. Petersburg. (Video by Andrei Kolokoltsev; camera by Oleg Kamushin, Crimean desk of RFE/RL's Ukrainian Service)
