Saakashvili Hospitalized With Collarbone Fracture

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has been hospitalized after a bicycling accident in Antalya, Turkey.

Georgia's presidential press service said that the accident happened on April 7.

Doctors in Istanbul diagnosed a triple fracture of Saakashvili's collarbone.

Surgery has been performed on the Georgian president.

All of his meetings scheduled for April 8 were postponed because of the accident.

Saakashvili's press service says the Georgian president is to meet with his Turkish counterpart, Abdullah Gul, on April 9y before returning to Tbilisi.

Saakashvili arrived in Turkey on April 6 for a three-day visit.
