Two Uzbek Citizens Commit Sucide In Marriage Dispute

Two Uzbek citizens have committed suicide in an apparent marriage dispute in Russia's Leningrad Oblast.

Russia's Investigative Committee said on May 26 that a 26-year-old Uzbek man had jumped from an apartment on the ninth floor in the town of Sertolovo after his girlfriend's parents refuse to allow him to marry her.

When an ambulance was called to take care of the man, his girlfriend's 51-year-old mother also jumped from the same apartment killing herself.

The tragedy took place on May 24. The victims' names have not been revealed.
