Head Of Ukrainian Orthodox Church Buried In Kyiv

Thousands of mourners attended the funeral of the deceased head of Ukraine's Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Volodymyr, on July 7 in Kyiv. Volodymyr, who had led the Ukrainian Orthodox Church under the Moscow Patriarchate since 1992, died on July 5 at the age of 78. He was buried at Kyiv's historic Pechersk Lavra monastery. (Reuters)
