Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan says he has been questioned by U.S. officials about his views on drone strikes in his country.
Khan wrote on Twitter that U.S. immigration officials took him off his flight from Toronto to New York on October 26.
His party said the delay meant he missed his flight and was late for a party fundraising event in New York.
But Khan wrote: "My stance is known. Drone attacks must stop."
U.S. authorities have not commented.
Khan is the head of the Tehrik-e Insaaf (Movement for Justice).
A former cricket star, he has campaigned for an end to U.S. drone strikes against suspected militants in Pakistan's tribal areas.
He says they kill many civilians and foster support for militants.
