A woman who claimed to be 132 years old has died in the western Georgian village of Sachino.
According to her documents, Antisa Khvichava was born on July 8, 1880 and attributed her amazing longevity to drinking 50 grams of grape "chacha," a type of local brandy, every day after breakfast before she started her day's work.
Her age has been disputed by many experts, who have concluded that her documents were incorrect or falsified.
As noted in local reports, Khvichava survived through two world wars and saw the creation and fall of the Soviet Union.
She lived long enough to have 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
Reports did not say when she died but mentioned thousands lining the route of Khvichava's funeral procession.
