Popular Russian Actor Yakovlev Dies

Yury Yakovlev, one of Russia's most popular Soviet-era film actors, has died in Moscow at the age of 86.

He played more than 100 roles in the theater and in films but was best known for his roles in Soviet comedies such as "The Irony of Fate" and "Ivan Vassilyevych Changes Profession."

He will be buried on at Moscow's Novodevichy Cemetery.
