Leaders Of Separatist Regions Meet

June 13, 2006 -- The leaders of Georgia's breakaway republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia and Moldova's Transdniester met today in Abkhazia to stress their de facto independence.

Abkhazia's Sergei Bagapsh, South Ossetia's Eduard Kokoity, and Transdniester's Igor Smirnov are expected to issue a joint declaration when their two-day meeting ends on June 14.
