Blast In Transdniester Kills One

Moldova, August 13, 2006 -- Reports say an explosion on a trolleybus in Moldova's separatist region of Transdniester today killed one person and injured at least seven.

A bomb is assumed to have caused the blast, which occurred in the region's capital.

A bus blast in Tiraspol last month killed eight people.

Transdniester broke away from Moldova 16 years ago.
