Bush Say Iran Must Face Isolation

November 13, 2006 -- U.S. President George W. Bush said today that Iran must face isolation if it proceeds with its uranium-enrichment program in defiance of international pressure.

"If [the Iranians] continue to move forward with their program, there has to be a consequence, and a good place to start is working together to isolate the country," Bush said, after talks in Washington with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.

Bush called Iran "a threat to world peace" and repeated his stance that Tehran must abandon its nuclear ambitions.

Olmert also expressed Israel's concerns about what it sees as an Iranian threat to its security.
