Driver Kills Seven At Moscow Bus Stop


Seven people were killed and several others were injured when a suspected drunk driver slammed into a bus stop in Moscow on September 22.

Media reports said several of the victims were teenagers.

Officials said the driver was speeding when he lost control of his car and crashed into the bus stop.

A Moscow police spokeswoman told Interfax he was apparently drunk.

The driver, said to be 29, was being kept under guard in the hospital with a concussion.

Reports said a passenger in the car and a bystander were also hospitalized.
