Building Under Construction Collapses In Armenia

A building under construction in the Armenian capital of Yerevan has collapsed, injuring 11 workers.

Nine of the workers, of whom eight are in serious condition, have been hospitalized.

Rescue officials say at least two more workers could be trapped under the debris.

RFE/RL's correspondent reports that Armenia's minister for emergency situations, Armen Eritsian, is coordinating rescue operations at the site.
