ISLAMABAD -- Afghan lawmakers are in Islamabad for two days of talks on bilateral relations with Pakistan.
A delegation of 18 Afghan members of parliament arrived in the Pakistani capital on December 10.
The talks were organized by the Pakistani Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency.
The organizers told journalists that the agenda will include a discussion on relations between Islamabad and Kabul following the withdrawal of NATO-led troops from Afghanistan in 2014.
Last month, the two neighboring countries reached an agreement on Pakistan's release of a group of Taliban prisoners to help the reconciliation process in Afghanistan.
On December 11, the Pakistani Interior and Foreign ministries refused to confirm or deny to RFE/RL some Pakistani media reports suggesting that Islamabad released one more Taliban prisoner ahead of the bilateral talks.
