Iran's President In Tajikistan For Talks, Water Conference

Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad has arrived in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe, where he is to hold talks with his counterpart Emomali Rahmon and attend a UN-sponsored international conference on water security.

Rahmon's office said the two leaders would discuss Iran's participation in Tajik energy projects, as well as a number of regional and international issues.

From Tajikistan, Ahmadinejad is expected to head to China for a visit to the Shanghai Expo.
