Russia's President Dismisses Leader Of Restive Region

MOSCOW (Reuters) -- Russia's President Dmitry Medvedev has sacked the leader of the restive southern Russian region of Ingushetia, Murat Zyazikov, the RIA Novosti news agency reported.
Violence has been increasing between security forces and rebels in Ingushetia this year. Some political analysts have said the region, which borders Chechnya, is on the
brink of civil war.
