The mayor of Tehran, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, tells Iran's English-language international broadcaster Press TV that he's a watcher of the Hollywood smash TV series "Lost" and "24." ("Lost" is very popular among Iranians.)

Qhalibaf, who ran for president in 2005, says former reformist President Mohammad Khatami was sometimes slow in making decisions and occasionally wouldn't make any decision at all.

Current President Mahmud Ahmadinejad, he says, is precisely the opposite in this respect.

"His decision making is much faster and more dynamic," Ghalibaf says of his predecessor-cum-president. He adds that the attribute is both "an opportunity and a threat." More here (with English subtitles).
