At Least Six Killed In Baghdad Car Bomb

March 02, 2005

2 March 2005 -- Iraqi police say at least six Iraqi soldiers have been killed in a car bomb explosion today outside an Iraqi Army base in Baghdad.

At least 25 other people, including civilians, were reported wounded in the attack on the base near the old Muthanna airport in the capital.

The attack follows the deaths of upwards of 120 people on 28 February in a suicide car bombing in the southern Iraqi city of Hilla.
